(引出現在進行時態，并指出該時態的謂語結構是“be + doing”. 把此結構比喻為一條活生生的魚，be為魚頭，ing為魚尾，用該時態時別忘了在動詞的前后加上魚頭和魚尾)

1、Can、may、must、should、need是情態動詞，在句子中不能單獨作謂語，后接動詞原形。沒有人稱和數的變化。
2、表示疑問時，只需把情態動詞提前;表否定時，在情態動詞后直接加not.
3、must開頭的一般疑問句，否定回答只能用needn’t。
4、情態動詞還可能表推測：can’tbe一定不是;maybe\shouldbe可能是;mustbe一定是
