二、教學設計思路
本教材主要是根據學生的認知特點和學生的實際水平來編寫的,不僅幫助學生學會一些語言基礎知識,更重要的是培養和發展學生的語言運用能力。每個單元都圍繞一個中心話題來設計不同的任務,讓學生通過“Learn by doing. Learn by using.”來完成。對教師來說,有更大的自由度來靈活運用教材,為自己的學生來量身定做學習方案。 本單元是為初學者準備的入門單元,總體內容不多,也不是很難,關鍵是做好一個銜接工作,根據學生的認知特點和心理特點,通過多樣化的、趣味性的學習活動,讓沒基礎的同學克服心里的畏難情緒,感覺到英語不難又很有趣;讓有基礎的同學更進一步培養起對英語學習的興趣和自信。

一.單元分析
本單元以家庭為話題,以家庭介紹為任務學習That’s my sister. These are my brothers. Who is she?等句型的使用。要求學生能夠做到:1.運用這些句型向別人介紹某人的能力和與人交際的能力;2.能向別人介紹自己的家庭情況;3.在珍視自己的家庭,珍愛親情的同時,關心不幸家庭的同學,對他們做力所能及的幫助。
二.學情分析
學生在小學中已經學習過一些家庭成員稱呼的知識,對于一些簡單的稱謂表達沒有問題,但書寫仍然是有問題的。同時,由于中西方文化的差異,中國家庭中的一些關系可能不好表達,老師需要做必要的補充。另外,由于計劃生育政策的施行,同學們的兄弟姐妹少了,這對于brother, sister的概念的表達可能有些不利。但是,中國是一個注重家庭的國家,本單元的學習會讓學生了解不同國家的家庭結構間的不同。同時由于班級內可能有來自單親家庭的同學,在授課時要注意保護學生,不要傷及學生的自尊,同時要注意培養學生的移情能力。
