Letters and sounds

教材分析：

Letters and sounds主要學習Uu,Vv,Ww,__,Yy,Zz六個字母和這六個字母在單詞中的發音。要求學生能聽說讀寫所學字母，并在學習字母音形的基礎上，初步掌握五個輔音字母和元音字母Uu作為單詞首字母的發音。建議教師把六個字母分散到每節課，用五分鐘時間進行音形教學。在第五課時教完Zz，滾動操練之前的五個字母，并引導學生發現這六個字母在單詞中的發音。

教學目標：

1.能力目標

能聽到字母就說出其對應的發音。

2.知識目標

能正確聽、說、讀、寫字母Uu, Vv, Ww, __, Yy, Zz 的大小寫，并知道其在單詞中的發音。

3.情感目標

培養學生嚴謹的學習態度和良好的書寫習慣。

教學重點：

學習在四線格中正確書寫英文字母Uu, Vv, Ww, __, Yy, Zz.

教學難點：

大寫字母U, _,Y的筆順和小寫字母v, w, y的印刷體與手寫體的區分。

教學過程：

Step 1 Preparation

1. Sing a song唱字母歌。

2..教師出示字母卡學生認讀字母，復習所學過的字母Aa-Tt。出示字母卡時單獨呈現大寫或小寫，讓學生認讀。

3.游戲：教師說出一個字母，學生迅速說出他的左鄰右舍，對說的又快又對的學生及時鼓勵。

Step 2 Presentation

1. 教學字母Uu 及例詞

(1)a:導入字母Uu，用字母詞卡教讀Uu。 然后讓學生分別認讀大寫字母U和小寫字母u。b:在讓學生觀察他在字母表中的位置，說出他的左鄰右舍。c:然后學生觀察Write and say中字母Uu的筆順并說一說，師在黑板上四線格內板書，強調占格，學生書空。d:學生觀察字母卡中的字母與黑板上四線格中的字母有什么不同，引導學生區分印刷體與手寫體。e:然后讓學生在練習本上仿照Write and say書寫，教師指導。f:　師用肢體語言做出字母的形狀，生做。

(2)教師出示帶有單詞的圖片問學生：Look,This is a ____學生說雨傘。教師出示單詞卡umbrella，讓學生認讀。教師出示圖片問“What’s under the umbrella?”學生說出兔子。教師出示單詞卡under，讓學生認讀。

(3) 老師指著例詞并領讀，讓學生充分感知語音，多次嘗試讓學生說出他們所學過的或他們所知道的以字母Uu開頭的單詞，學生邊說后，教師幫助學生試著歸納字母Uu在單詞中的發音，并注意糾正學生不正確的發音。之后同桌互相合作并糾音正音，教師邊在黑板上板書。

(4) 讓學生說出他們所學過的或他們所知道的以字母Uu開頭的單詞，學生邊說教師邊在黑板上板書。

2.同法呈現字母Uu, Vv, Ww, __, Yy, Zz 及相應的單詞，基本過程為：復習前面學過的字母導入呈現字母-板書教讀字母區分大小寫-學生書空-強調格式-仿寫-聽說單詞-板書單詞-找共同的字母 -讀詞感知字母的發音-說出學過的以此字母開頭的單詞。教師在教學字母的過程中注意強調大寫字母U, _,, 小寫字母v, w, y的筆順。

3.學生聽錄音跟讀字母和單詞。(第一遍讓學生聽錄音，第二遍讓學生聽錄音并跟讀)

4.小組合作學習。教師讓學生小組內大聲朗讀。

Step 3 Practice

1.配對子

將學生分為兩大組，教師說出字母，A組同學舉大寫字母卡，B組舉小寫字母卡。舉的又快又對的為勝者。

2.記憶游戲

師給出一個字母，小組中第一名學生說出它前面的字母，第二名說出它后面的字母。以此類推，最后進行小組總結，獎勵優勝組。

3.游戲Say letters：教師出示一張圖片，如orange,生快速讀出單詞并大聲說出相應的字母Oo 。此活動先由教師出示，全體學生說，再指個別學生說，然后學生在小組內進行Say letters：學生輪流出示圖片，其他學生快說字母。

4.Listen and circle

讓學生看課本Listen and circle，聽錄音圈字母，教師在教室內走動幫助個別學生。檢查答案。

5.仿例抄寫Write and say：課堂上給學生一定的時間進行書寫練習，教師在這一時間內要在學生中進行巡視，以便及時發現和糾正錯誤。適時進行情感教育：養成良好的英語書寫習慣。

Step 4 Production

1.Find and say

學生觀察圖，先在小組內說一說圖中有哪些字母?然后找幾個同學來說，用句型I see…。

2.小組內討論生活中還有那些類似這幾個字母形狀的物品，然后在全班交流。

3. 教師讀出以字母Uu, Vv, Ww, __, Yy, Zz為首字母的單詞，學生聽音并大聲說出單詞的首字母，并在四線格中正確寫出開頭字母的大小寫。

1.檢測：做當堂達標題，基礎訓練P45頁第五、六題。

2.Summary：What have you learned today? 引導學生總結本課時所學知識。
